Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr. Hamid Bugo is Independent, Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Petroleum Sarawak Berhad.

In addition to his Chairmanship with PETROS, Tan Sri Hamid sits on the Boards of Transnational Insurance Brokers (M) Sdn Bhd and X-Fab Silicon Foundries NV, Brussels. He is also on several non-profit Boards including as Chairman of the Sarawak State Library Management Board and Yayasan Kemajuan Insan Sarawak (YAKIN).

Tan Sri Hamid served the Sarawak State government as State Secretary amongst others. He was a former council member of the Institute of Integrity Malaysia, member of Excellent People Group for Malaysia-Indonesia, and a member of the advisory committee of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

Dato Sri Dr. Haji Wan Lizozman bin Haji Wan Omar is Non Independent Non-Executive Director of of PETROS and Shareholder Representative.

In addition to his Directorship with the Issuer, Dato Sri Dr. Wan Lizozman holds Directorships of various State-owned Companies and is a member of the Boards of Sarawak Economic Development Sarawak (SEDC) and Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC).

Dato Mohammad Medan bin Abdullah is Independent, Non-Executive Director (with effect from 1 January 2025) of PETROS.

In addition to his Directorship with PETROS, Dato Medan is a Non-Executive Director with Handal Energy Berhad and the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), a national trade promotion agency under the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry.

Datu Ir. Hj Zuraimi bin Haji Sabki is Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of PETROS.

In addition to his Directorship with PETROS, Datu Zuraimi is a Board member of Brooke Dockyard, the Board of Engineers Malaysia, Sarawak Land Custody and Development Authority, Miri Port Authority, Tanjong Manis Port Authority, Bintulu Development Authority and the Sarawak Rivers Board amongst others.

Datuk Haji Sharbini bin Suhaili is Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of PETROS. Datuk Haji Sharbini is the Chairman of the Board Remuneration & Nomination Committee.

In addition to his Directorship with PETROS, Datuk Sharbini is an elected board member and a Fellow of the International Hydropower Association (IHA).

Datin Josephine anak Hilary Dom @ Josephine John is Independent Non-Executive Director of PETROS.

Dato Heng Hock Cheng is Independent, Non-Executive Director of PETROS. Dato Heng is the Chairman of the Board Audit & Risk Committee.

In addition to his Directorship with PETROS, Dato Heng is also Director of DIV Systems Sdn Bhd.

Dato Sri Dr. Muhammad Abdullah bin Zaidel is Non Independent Non-Executive Director of PETROS.

In addition to his Directorship with PETROS, Dato Sri Dr. Muhammad is also a member of the Boards of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), the Sarawak Land Custody & Development Authority and the Federal Government’s National Wages Consultative Council.

Dato Janin is the Group Chief Executive Officer of PETROS. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, holding various leadership roles in Malaysia and abroad with Shell, PETRONAS and PETROS. Dato Janin joined PETROS in 2019 as Executive Vice President (EVP) Downstream.

Prior to joining PETROS, Dato Janin was Country Head and Chairman of Petronas Carigali Nile Ltd., PETRONAS South Sudan.

Dato Janin is also Executive Director of PETROS Group of Companies namely Petroleum Sarawak Exploration & Production Sdn. Bhd. Petroleum Sarawak Gas Sdn. Bhd., Sarawak Gas Distribution Sdn. Bhd., PETROS Power Sdn. Bhd.

Azha is the Chief Financial Officer of PETROS. He has 23 years of finance experience in oil & gas as well as in the aviation industry. His 17 years in oil & gas industry covered upstream, gas & power, gas-to-liquid and downstream for the Shell Group in Malaysia and United Kingdom. Subsequently as CFO of Malaysia Airlines, he was instrumental in the carrier's successful turnaround, particularly on aircraft re-fleeting programme, which involved significant capital and debt raising exercise. Azha served five (5) years as a financial consultant to Pemandu Associates. He started his career with KPMG.

Azha is also a Director of PETROS Group of Companies namely PETROSNiaga Sdn. Bhd., Petroleum Sarawak Exploration & Production Sdn. Bhd. and PETROS Power Sdn. Bhd.

Dato Abang Arabi is the Senior Vice President Sarawak Resource Management of PETROS. He has more than 34 years of experience in the oil and gas industry having held leadership roles in various Business & Market Development areas specializing in commercial negotiations and managing strategic collaborations with partners for Exploration & Production, gas and LNG businesses. Prior to PETROS, Dato Abang Arabi was the Head of Business Development Upstream with PETRONAS.

Dato Abang Arabi is also a Director of PETROS Group of Companies namely PETROSNiaga Sdn. Bhd., Petroleum Sarawak Gas Sdn. Bhd. and Sarawak Gas Distribution Sdn. Bhd.

Datuk Joseph Podtung is the Senior Vice President for Growth of PETROS.

Datuk Joseph brings with him more than 30 years of domestic and international experience in the oil and gas industry spanning across upstream business which includes organisation’s strategic, integrated asset management, production and petroleum operations as well as Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). Prior to joining PETROS, he was the CEO for Malaysia Thailand Joint Authority.

Nazrin Banu Shaikh Sajjad Ahmad is Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Planning.

Nazrin aka Najo has extensive experience spanning multiple roles and areas, she has made significant contributions in production chemistry, petroleum engineering, asset management and strategic planning.

Her achievements include turning around fields, developing upstream growth strategies, and contributing to organizational shaping initiatives. Currently, she plays a crucial role in resource development and management, focusing on promoting and marketing discovered fields and late-life assets. Nazrin’s expertise and dedication make her a leader in the energy industry, driving the success and effective management of valuable resources.

Ismail Said is Senior Vice President, Human Capital, Corporate Relations & Services.

Ismail, who hails from Miri, is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in the oil and energy industry in Human Capital Management and Strategic Planning. He has a vast experience globally in three different continents (Asia Pacific, Middle East & Europe), and has led many industrial and non-industrial employment relationships and interests in monitoring legislative and executive activities that can influence corporate policy. Ismail was assigned to the Premier of Sarawak’s Department (1st January 2019), with an initial secondment from Shell Malaysia to State HR Unit (SHRU) before being appointed as CEO of the Leadership Institute for Sarawak Civil Service. Ismail has a Legal background (LLB), MA in Industrial Relations and an Executive Programme focused on Business Leadership from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.

Victor is the Senior Vice President, Asset of PETROS. He is an oil and gas veteran with over 30 years’ experience serving Malaysia, Holland and New Zealand. Prior to joining PETROS in December 2020 as Head for Domestic Gas Opportunities, he held various senior roles covering Maintenance Services, Asset Integrity and Process Safety with Shell Gas Assets and Malaysia EP. He also has extensive experience in Upstream, Downstream and Technical Consultancy businesses having led several organizational restructures, driven operational efficiency and safety leadership programmes.

Victor is also a Director of PETROS Group of Companies namely PETROS Power Sdn. Bhd. and Sarawak Gas Distribution Sdn. Bhd.

Jeremy is the Vice President, Subsurface & Development of PETROS. He has more than 20 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas business. Before PETROS, Jeremy worked with Shell for more than 18 years in various management and technical leadership roles across exploration, development and asset management in Malaysia, US and UK. He has a strong record for delivering results and has led major deepwater project start-ups like Perdido, Gumusut-Kakap and Malikai. Jeremy is also passionate about growing talent and building local capability in Sarawak.

Jeremy is also a Director of PETROS Group of Companies namely Petroleum Sarawak Exploration & Production Sdn. Bhd.

Rosalie Tien is Vice President Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance.

Rosalie is from Kota Padawan, Kuching, Sarawak. She graduated with LLB Hons. from King’s College London. Rosalie has more than 25 years of experience as a legal professional, 20 of which was spent in Shell in various leadership roles supporting a wide breadth of businesses in Upstream, Downstream, Gas and Corporate Head Office. Rosalie has also worked in different geographies in Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Europe throughout her career.

Rosalie is a passionate champion of empowering women in leadership roles. In her spare time, she loves painting and exploring new places with her husband, Stephen, and their 3 sons.

Kidd Enau is the Vice President for Capital Projects of PETROS. With over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Kidd brings a wealth of expertise in surface engineering and project leadership. His career journey includes key roles at Shell Malaysia and six years as Project Manager for offshore brownfield projects at Sakhalin Energy, a Shell joint venture in Russia.

Kidd joined PETROS in January 2019 as General Manager for Regulatory & Compliance. Prior to joining PETROS, he was also the first Director of Gas under the Ministry of Utility Sarawak in 2018.

Steven Chen is the Vice President for Engineering of PETROS.

Steven started his career with Shell and is passionate about growing Sarawak’s oil and gas engineering talent and capability. He has over 30 years of experience, predominantly in upstream field developments, brownfield rejuvenation, onshore unconventional gas appraisals, and more recently in projects to promote greater domestic gas utilisation in Sarawak. Steven brings a strong track record in multi-discipline engineering and project delivery, covering front-end engineering, detailed design, contracting, site execution and project handovers. His leadership spans significant project and engineering roles both in Malaysia and China.
